Explore My World of Stitching

Stitched Textiles celebrate the artistry of fiber and thread, transforming fabric into intricate, painterly type compositions.
Each piece is created slowly and intentionally stitched with a simple, non-computerized sewing machine, incorporating free motion quilting, thread painting and hand embroidery. I do not follow patterns or make marks on the fabric. So my work quiets the mind and allows a sense of slowing down. Inspired from mountain and coastal landscapes, I aim to evoke a sense of place and honor handmade.
